To those learned in the ways of the Church,
To those learned in the ways of the Church,
I am still waiting for a response on the issues I brought up in my last post. The Church must have some other purpose besides littering the countryside with blood-stained shrines, and if the Church would kindly answer my question instead of being as evasive as they usually are, then I can get back to my research on our history. Although I have been commended for my efforts in questioning the Church's purpose, since any actions recently performed display a lack of what is written in the help file, I do understand the privacy the Church needs as well. If anyone would respond, I would be in deep gratitude.
With regards to the animal sacrafice debate, I have a problem with it also. From what I understand, these animals are given the gift of free-will in a preparation ceremony so they can decide if they would rather live or die. What bothers me is why the Church has the power to give non-sentient beings the gift of knowledge and reason. According to history, Phaestus the Smith could not even give his dwarves free-will until the War for Humanity, so why should the Church hold such a power. I would be happy if anyone can answer that too.
One more thing. If anyone knows anything about the madness that infected Gaia, it would be most appreciated.
The ever learning Strife.
