As promised with the closing of the 950(ish) Championship Games Redux it is time for a bit of fun and games. It is with great excitement that I officially announce the celebration of my 500th year, accompanied by none other than a Karthic Roast! A true test of wit, wisdom, and sharp tongues. As we gather to indulge in this delightful tradition, let us not forget the art of clever banter and the thrill of sharp repartee.

Here are the essential details for the Roast :

10th Mayan, 957 A.F.

Location:
Ancyra Manor (located riverside by Adryn's Keep)

Why:
A half-millennium of life well-lived, and nothing is more exhilarating and entertaining than the barbs and jabs that are crafted in a heated, yet light-hearted environments.



---- THE RULES ----

LENGTH:
Roasts will be delivered in the form of 1-2 rhyming couplets. A sequence of 3 couplets is acceptable if exceptionally clever but is judged with higher expectations. 5 couplets is right out.
Should a roast fall flat, disqualification will be immediate.

TARGETS:
Any and all present is considered fair game. A roast directed at someone not present is restricted to a single couplet before being struck as a viable target for the rest of the event.

STYLE:
Wit over wrath - keep your words cleaver, your humour sharp and your insults as close to 'flattery' as possible. However, Sincerity shall be swiftly punished with ridicule and disqualification.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ancyra Manor is only responsible for the joy and good times. Serious matters and bad attitudes must be 'discussed' outside of the Manor. A complimentary 'discussion' circle will be provided.

HOST CLAUSE:
I reserve the right to the last laugh. It is my party after all.
