Greetings, Sapience.

The Vanguard have undergone many changes during my tenure as Imperator, and now I would like to share a portion of that change with you all.

As the name implies, the Vanguard are at the front of the line - Ashtan's martial ambition made manifest. Now we share this vision with you all in the form of a tournament between the combat houses of Sapience. Come, prove your mettle against the best that Sapience has to offer. Let us fight amongst each other. There are no credit nor cash prizes, simply the pride of knowing you have dominated your opponents, and extinguished their hopes.

The tournament will commense a year from this date. There will be four catergories:

1. Best HR4 and under
2. Best duelist
3. Best 3-man group
4. Best House Leader

Multiple people from each house can participate in each category, so do not worry about picking one person to represent your house - maximum participation should be encouraged. These fights will take place at the ancient proving grounds, North of New Thera, to avoid any shenanegans.

House leaders, or representitives, please let me know who is participating and in what category before the tournament starts. Tentatively, one year from now, but we shall see the participation we get.

I look forward to seeing a large turnout. Let's encourage our people to get out there and fight.
