Fair is fair?

I fail to understand how your challenge amounts to a fairer fight. You
expect your opponent to spend a fortune in class-transition costs and
forego the use of artifacts, yet you will be free to employ your alleged
expertise in knight-class combat against a newly-minted member of the
knight class. Simply put, there is more honesty and less shame in
admitting your lack of courage rather than avoiding it through the
imposition of these patently unreasonable conditions.
