Your challenge

Greetings, Sir Antonius

You challenged Hellrazor Cain to a duel. You told him to join a Knight
class and duel you without artefacts. I cannot see how that is very
honorable of you, telling him to join another class and throw away his
equipment in order to fight you. That would be like me asking you to
change your class to shaman and duel me, but of course you have to throw
away your vials first, or I won't dare to duel you. And as of the amount
of equipment Cain would have to throw away, I guess I need you to give
me all your bloodroot before the duel too?

To say this straight, that is one of the most dishonorable things you
can ask your opponent in my eyes, asking them to throw away their swords
so you can have a bigger chance of winning. If you cannot beat a person
by yourself, you should not ask him to make it easier for you. You
should rather strengthen yourself through the Seven Truths of Evil, and
then eventually, you will be able to beat Cain without having him to put
away his equipment.

Cain's equipment in form of artefacts is very powerful indeed, however
he wouldn't ask you to put away yours if he was going to duel you. You
seem to enjoy being on the winning side of a war, so perhaps you should
consider leaving your weak patron and the Jewel of the East behind, and
come to serve Evil as a Mhaldorian instead?

I'm not claiming that you are not honorable at all, I just find your
challenge to Cain to be very childish of you. He is stronger than you,
and I have to say you've got a great chance of losing here, however why
would that stop you from duelling him? You still got a chance of winning
and if you lose, you'll still keep your honor. However, if you ask him
to put away his artefacts, I can't say that's very brave or honorable of
you.

Your honor is not a weakness, however your twisted view of honor is. I
can't say I know a lot about the Order of Valour, and as you're a member
of it, I can't say you're representing it very well over this board. Nor
can I say Sir Osis has as the Orderhead of Lord Pentharian.

You say that the Maldaathi are not honorable, however I do not see two
Maldaathi Squires run around teaming people they can't kill by their
own. I have though in fact been teamed by a couple of Defenders of the
Guardians before. I'd also like to add how the Paladins guild changed
into a hybrid house for some years ago now, they've started to induct
Druid's, Magi's, Shamans and even Serpents, the most dishonorable class
of Sapience. The Guardians has even started to Knight those of such
classes, calling them 'Barons'. When the Maldaathi guild changed into a
house, we stayed true to our founders and we're not inducting hybrids.
We keep our ranks clean with only accepting Infernals and Runewardens.
So as Sir Osis told Lord Aegis, I'll tell you, "Think before you say
something."

When you will grow brave and honorable enough to duel Cain with his
current equipment, I do not know, however I'll respect you much more
when that time comes. Even though you are my enemy, I ask you to
strengthen yourself, be this by the Seven Truths or not, and prove to
the world that you do indeed possess some honor, Antonius.

And last, on the behalf of the Maldaathi house, I would like to
challenge you to a duel for your insult. Though, I will let you keep
your swords during the duel and I will not ask you throw them away.

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Aeguary, in the year 416 AF.
