My Honour

Written by: Lord Antonius Agarwaen
Date: Tuesday, March 7th, 2006
Addressed to: Hellrazor Cain Silverblade, Marked for Death

Cain,

My Honour is not, as you say, a weakness. It is what makes me more than
the thug you are, and more than the 'Knights' Mhaldor claims to possess.
While I admit that there are some Maldaathi who still know what Honour
truly is, they are few and far between, and have been unable to teach
the younger generations of it.

Now, you can claim that Elysia has fallen, and brag about your triumph
over the followers of Valour for as long as you wish, but until you
choose to accept my challenge, you will have proven, and achieved,
nothing.

The offer, for those who were not present, is for Cain to join a Knight
class, and duel me without the use of artifacts. Cain took this
challenge as an insult, but I do not see what is so insulting about it.
Perhaps, Cain, you do not consider me worth your time? I'm sure this is
true.

However, I think that the real reason you are so against my challenge,
is that you are afraid of what I would do to you if you were to accept
such a challenge. My challenge remains open, from now until either of us
decides to no longer walk these realms. One day, Cain, perhaps you will
understand Honour, perhaps you will understand Valour, and maybe, just
maybe, you'll find enough spine buried in yourself to accept.

Until then, I do not wish to hear your words, your taunts, your shouts
of victory. Until you accept this simple challenge, and prove you have
some shred of skill within you, I do not care to hear your name, and I
would not advise even considering attacking me without legitimate cause.

In the name of Valour,
Lord Antonius Agarwaen,
Paladin Knight.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Aeguary, in the year 416 AF.
