Two Doves

This soul-less fool,
Has lost his cool.
For he is in love,
With two beautiful doves.

He made his heart,
Form into a rock.
Never to love another,
Only to kill the other.

But he met a dove,
Whose body was all that he could love.
Merged on the grass,
Their hot love broke the stone of mass.

He was in love,
Law dictated for it not.
She left yet was still with him,
He was lost in the void.

In an auction of bachelors,
A lady bid high above all the rest.
At first sight of her blue eyes,
His heart melted and came out of the void.

Without thinking of the first,
He cherished the love he gave.
His touch gave her shivers down her spine,
They hoped that they would eternally be bind.

On a night like endless nights,
The doves confronted; their love at watch.
The first scribed her name upon him,
The second scribed confusion upon him.

Who is he to choose?
The love of a body he can never have?
The love of a lady he holds now?
Never can he have both for love does not fork.
