Mount Gheladan

Autumn was just beginning to mature in 472 AF, when the usual crowd
gathered near the land of Minia was visited by a great copper dragon
called Lasuna. As the number of onlookers grew, the guides Romeo and
Juliet appeared, speaking eagerly to the creature of a mysterious
proposition.

Lasuna explained that she was guardian of Mount Gheladan, a land the
Guides had recently requested be opened to adventurers. The dragon was
worried, however, that the landscape would soon be torn and ravaged by
careless explorers and warriors. With some encouragement from her
siblings, Auma and Poraeus, she offered a compromise. In return for
revealing her land to others, she would to continue to protect the area
from the more powerful adventurers in the realms. Romeo and Juliet
readily agreed to the condition, and returned to the Ring of Portals to
open a new gateway to Gheladan.

After awaiting the crowd upon the old road between the Dakhota Hills and
the Vashnar Mountains, Lasuna declared her lands open. In a great puff
of yellow smoke, the previously hidden path to Mount Gheladan was
revealed. As it came into view, the portal woven by Romeo and Juliet
opened, allowing the youngest adventurers of the lands to enter and
explore.

The copper dragon did not linger long, and returned to her home to keep
a vigilant watch for those who would bring ruin to the mountain, and
with a new purpose: to watch over young newbies who travelled within her
domain.

Penned by My hand on the 7th of Glacian, in the year 473 AF.
