Handel handed each of the glowing prisms to Pentharian and he slowly
ground each into dust over a large orb that sat within the center of the
chamber, causing the large orb to change colors to match each gems dust
that was sprinkled on it. As the last gem was dusted and sprinkled onto
the orb, Pentharian placed his hands upon the orb, preparing to absorb
the energies within it, but instead found his own power being drawn into
the orb and he suddenly disappeared.
Shocked at what had just transpired the congregation that was quickly
growing larger with each passing moment began to wonder what they could
do to return their lost gods. Moments later, Sartan, Lord of Evil
arrived and began to taunt all in attendance saying that once again he
had triumphed and that evil would reign supreme now that Aurora and
Pentharian were now gone. For a long while the Shallamese defied his
word and some such as Calhoun saw fit to even challenge the Lord of
Evil, and he quickly found the cold embrace of death.
As confusion began to run rampant in the chamber, Handel suddenly fell
to his knees and began to chant. He instructed all the others to do as
he was and pray to the lost gods in hope that their prayers could act as
a beacon to draw them back to this plane.
Minutes passed, and nothing could be seem within the dormant orb and
Sartan continued to cackle in glee until suddenly the orb flashed with a
blindingly bright light, causing the mortals to shield their eyes. As if
faded, and their vision returned, they all saw Pentharian standing
before them once again, seeming a bit more powerful and renewed. He told
them of the journey and that though at the time of first hearing it from
Handel, he thought the prophecy to be nothing more then a mortal dream,
it was indeed true and he now stood as the Master of both the realms of
Light and Righteousness.
Penned by my hand on the 16th of Miraman, in the year 278 AF.
