Early morning one recent Glacian, a distraught cry resounded from the
peaceful village of Tasur'ke. Adventurers rallied to the Thalassa Market
to find the townswomen in a state of panic. When questioned, it was
revealed that none of their young boys had returned to their homes the
previous night, and the rascals were still nowhere to be found. The
harrowed mothers beseeched the aid of the assembled group, and they
quickly set about searching the village and nearby areas.
While wandering along Caldinarius Street in the richer part of town,
Sena and Klendathu caught a glimpse of children playing merrily within a
massive gated mansion off the street. The adventurers assembled there,
catching the attention of the valet of the wealthy household. The valet
came through the gates to see what the commotion was about. He informed
the crowd that the rascals had jumped the manse's fence to retrieve a
toy ball, wandered into their kitchen where the family's chef had cooked
them dinner, and ended up staying for the night.
The valet opened the gates to allow the adventurers to fetch the
children. The mansion radiated opulence, with lavish amounts of gold and
fine jewels embellishing its vaulted halls. Solymr found the rascals
playing in the kitchen, and with the help of Skye, who hailed from
Tasur'ke, convinced them to put their mothers' minds at ease and return
home. Reunited with their dear children, the townswomen of Tasur'ke
rejoiced and sang the praises of the search party.
As for the strangely wealthy Aurick family -- does the hospitality
offered to the local boys stem from benevolent motives, or perhaps some
deeper plot that is yet to be revealed?
Penned by my hand on the 25th of Miraman, in the year 423 AF.
