Nimick

During the wee hours of the 3rd of Daedalan, 423 years after the fall of
the great Seleucarian Empire, a lone man wandered up and down the
Prelatorian highway seeking help.
After some time, he stumbled upon the archway of Minia, where a young
Apostate named Larxene struck up a conversation with him. He explained
that he needed to find a newsroom to make a very important post. Larxene
led the stranger to the Ashtan archives, where he quickly excused
himself to compose his post (public #16200), leaving the young girl to
return to Minia to continue her business.
The man, Nogak, proclaimed in his post to be the leader of a rebel
faction in a village called Nimick. This town had long hidden itself from
the world, a state that he and the other rebels wished to see ended. His
mission complete, Nogak made his way out of Ashtan, only to be stopped
and questioned by the adventurers Tekk and Heavan. The news already out,
Nogak had no problems telling them more about the whereabouts of Nimick.
However by then, and in fact, even before Nogak had concluded his news
post, an explorer named Aithon had discovered the way into Nimick. Nogak
had been deliberately clumsy on his way out of Nimick, and perhaps he
had left some telltale signs making the entrance easier to find. Word
had spread, and by the time Nogak returned to his home with Tekk and
Heavan, the feet of many curious adventurers already trod the
once-hidden village.
Nimick, a mining town that was once a secret haven for those fleeing the
Ashtan-Shallam wars, is now open to all who seek it!
Penned by my hand on the 25th of Miraman, in the year 423 AF.
