The price-list has been not only thought about for years, but the details were being worked on a fair while before Dalamar first became an enemy.
I know because I worked on how to enforce it (if not the prices)
The only reason it didnt come into effect a couple of years ago is because we got a bit busy with Dalamar and couldnt find time to finish the list.
NOW.
Overharvesting doesnt destroy the actual forest, just the plants in it. Exterminating DOES destroy the forest, PROOF: Once exterminated, the forest loses its ability to fight back at it's enemies, survey no longer calls it forest. If you dont believe me, ask Dalamar, go survey an exterminated site for yourself. Just quit your infernal arguing.
