Here is why Mandel would not agree to usurp Perseon at the meeting, here is why you were/are wrong to say HE and the Sentinels are responsible for Dalamar's continuing to exterminate the forest.
The herb pricelist has absolutely nothing to do with Dalamar - we've been intending it for many years before he was ever a threat.
All treaties with Dalamar in the past have ended with Dalamar breaking them. Why trust him now? You argue that we Sentinels broke them not him - you8 believe him, the forest killer, over us, the forest protectors, who have died for YOUR groves - then you are fools.
Dalamar will NEVER gained forgiveness for what he has done, not from the forest, nor from the Sentinels. Rhenn once argued that Hashan destroyed more of hte forest than Dalamar - well Rhenn, he has destroyed more than Hashan ever did - he has the honours of committing THE biggest crime against the forest from any mortal ever, and seems to be well on his way to challenging the immortal effect thats in the histories. In short, Dal will never be forgiven, no cease-fire will ever be considered.
If any of the lost or the Druids are happy in the knowledge that by entering this little cease-fire agreement with Dalamar has stopped him exterminating your groves, but not the Sentinels - then I say this to you:
I hope you rot and die. I recommend you be eternally enemied form Oakstone. Why? By forgiving Dalamar you turn your backs on the forest. Why should the forest protect you (by granting you the privilege of tending a grove) and why should you reap the bounties of the forest and wilderness (harvesting) if you dont give two hoots and a holler about the forest and choose to forgive Dalamar when the FOREST ITSELF DOES NOT.
You told Mandel he had an oath to uphold - you yourself have broken it, not he. I havnt seen you raise a finger to help against Dalamar before the herbprices thing - and now you enter a treaty with him?
