I must extend my sincere thanks to both Lani and Zero for their mature and intelligent responses to my post. It was a much needed change from the typical "neener-neener-neener" mentality all too often exhibited on this board. Their responses have made me evaluate my motives for posting, and that being done, I wish to share them, lest I be labled as vindictive.
First, let me state unequivocally that I have no personal ill-will to the young Aylara. I am sure that she will find her own calling, and make a strong contribution to Sapience. That being said...my reason for posting is really quite simple. If an item is posted on a public board, it then becomes, in my opinion, a public issue. Usually, I take the writings on these boards with a proverbial grain of salt, as they are written with the aforementioned "neener-neener-neener" mentality. When the writings are done in such a way that fallacies are multiply repeated, I would expect the public to repeatedly expose the fallacies. Logos knows that it has happened to me before. One need look no further back than the last Logosmas celebration, when this author attempted to bring about a Logoskah celebration as well. I deserved, and received, a thorough chatisement (Nothing says chastisement quite like a public ridicule from Sarapis).
In conclusion, I would like to apologize for any hurt feelings and hurt brains (from those used to the "neener-neener-neener" posts) that my post may have caused. I do not, however, apologize for my words, or the action of me writing that post.
