8.3.5 The Ascendant

The Ascendant is the most powerful leader of a House in the Oligarchy and
Triumvirate government forms. This is a generic term to refer to the position.
Each house selects the specific title to use to refer to its own Ascendant
Oligarch or Triumvir.

The Ascendant makes House appointments and selects the House's Divine Patron.
