19.24.23 Elemental Talismans

The "Elemental" talisman set:

Talismans and pieces from this set can be obtained in the following ways:

- Promotions. This will always be announced via the relevant news when the   pieces are currently available.
- Whole talismans bought from the Delosian shop.
- Trading between players (pieces only).
- Partial completion (see below).

The Elemental set contains the following talismans:

A miniature air elemental - TALISMAN INFO AIRELEMENTAL

    - Purchasable in Delos for 60 bound credits
    - A minipet in the domesticated collection

A warblefish's jawbone    - TALISMAN INFO JAWBONE

    - Purchasable in Delos for 200 credits
    - OPEN this underwater and the next thing you say will be heard by all who share the underwater environs with you. 
    - The jawbone will then close for 30 seconds before it can be used again.

A tiny phial filled with the Tears of the Sea - TALISMAN INFO SEATEARS

    - Purchasable in Delos for 300 credits
    - POUR from this phial into a vial of fresh or salt water to convert it to the other!

A mineral-crusted shovel - TALISMAN INFO EARTHENSHOVEL

    - Purchasable in Delos for 375 credits
    - DIG those pesky burrowers up from deep in the earth (more than 1 level of burrow), none shall escape your wrath!

A dripping mudbomb - TALISMAN INFO MUDBOMB

    - Purchasable in Delos for 700 credits
    - THROW this in a room and everyone (including you!) will be hit with an effect that increases the balance time on flying by a nontrivial amount.
    - This item will return to you five minutes after being thrown.
    - The mud effect will fade naturally on its own after a couple of minutes, or can be scrubbed off in a body of water.

A seared glyph - TALISMAN INFO SEAREDGLYPH

    - Purchasable in Delos for 850 credits
    - This glyph must be ATTACHed to either a shield of absorption or a suit of artefact armour containing an absorption paragon.
    - Every five times the armour absorbs a hit from a denizen, it will lash out with flame, dealing damage to the attacker.
    - Note that this item CANNOT be removed once attached.

A stratospheric harness - TALISMAN INFO HARNESS

    - Purchasable in Delos for 1700 credits
    - SHAKE <harness> when in an associated region and of sound body in order to capture the far flung windstreams. These immense forces will allow you to travel to nearby isles.
    - Western windstream encompasses Tuar, Tapoa, and Ageiro.
    - Eastern windstream encompasses Zanzibaar, Clockwork, Colchis, and Umbrin.
    - Northern windstream encompasses Karbaz, Suliel, and Ilyrean.

An armoured charge tank - TALISMAN INFO FIRETANK

    - Purchasable in Delos for 1350 credits
    - This item is controlled with the DEPLETE command.
    - This tank charges up as you slay denizens. Higher level denizens convey more charge, and the max charge the tank can hold at any one time is 7500.
    - You may spend charge on various actions.
    - For 1500 charge, you may destroy an item similar to a mushroom sigil, but you will not take damage to do so. DEPLETE EXPLOSION <item>
    - For 1500 charge you may burn away ropes or webs that bind you immediately for a short balance. DEPLETE WREATHE
    - For a minimum of 7000 charge (though it will consume all charge on the tank), you may grant experience to all that stand in your location, similar to a bard's Chorale. DEPLETE GLORY
    - This final effect may only affect you once every 2 hours and may only be performed by you once every 18 hours.

A sceptre of aqueous mastery - TALISMAN INFO SCEPTRE

    - Purchasable in Delos for 2000 credits
    - You may POINT this sceptre in a direction to part water in said direction. 
    - It additionally conveys the ability to CAST FLOOD.

A shackle of Garash - TALISMAN INFO GARASHSHACKLE

    - Priced at 600 credits
    - This shackle will convey the mass defence to you for as long as you continue to wear it.
    - This is identical to the artefact of the same name.

A fire pendant - TALISMAN INFO FIREPENDANT

    - Priced at 200 credits
    - This pendant increases your critical hit rate by 2% when worn.
    - This is identical to the artefact of the same name and does not stack.

Partial Completions
--------------------
If you have two or three pieces of a talisman in the elemental set you can 
TALISMAN COMPLETE PARTIAL <talismanname> to complete it for the remainder
of the bound credit value of the item as it is in the Delosian Talisman shop.

   DOING THIS WILL COMPLETE THE TALISMAN AND BIND IT TO YOU.

Talismans completed in this manner will have an altered tradein that 
reflects its credit worth, including the credit purchased completion.

I.E 
    You have: cruciblebase and cruciblebowl.
    You use TALISMAN COMPLETE PARTIAL CRUCIBLE and pay 500 bound credits.
       This is half the cost of the crucible in the shop because you already
       have half of the pieces.
    You get: a completed soulfire crucible talisman.
    This item has a tradein value of: 346 bound credits.
       This is 2/3rds of 520 credits (The 500 credits paid above, plus your 2
       pieces valued at 10 credits each.)
