19.24.3 Historical Talismans

The "Historical" talisman set:

Talismans and pieces from this set can be obtained in the following ways:
- Promotions (this will always be announced via the relevant news when the
  pieces are currently available)
- Trading between players (pieces only)
- Whole talismans bought from the Delosian shop (when in stock)
- Partial completion (see below.)

The Historical set contains the following talismans:

a Golden Window              - TALISMAN INFO WINDOW
 - Purchasable in Delos for 100 bound credits.
 - When you OPEN WINDOW a scene from Achaea's history will be projected into
   the room.

a Mantle of Himalia          - TALISMAN INFO MANTLE
 - Purchasable in Delos for 100 bound credits.
 - The owner can PLACE MANTLE ON FIGUREHEAD while standing in the room with
   the mounted figurehead.
 - It will use up the mantle and will make the figurehead non-decay and
   resetting.

a scintillating icicle       - TALISMAN INFO ICICLE
 - Purchasable in Delos for 100 bound credits.
 - This icicle can be shattered on the ground, freezing it.
 - It will reset to you in one Achaean day.
 - SMASH ICICLE ON GROUND.

an ormyrr skull helmet       - TALISMAN INFO HELMET
 - Purchasable in Delos for 100 bound credits.
 - The skull of a dead ormyrr, made into a helmet. Very chic.

a Mirrored Disc              - TALISMAN INFO DISC
 - Purchasable in Delos for 800 bound credits.
 - This interesting trinket will create a frozen, properly coloured image of a
   room, an adventurer, a denizen, or a a thing. 
 - It requires an elemental ice to function, which will be used up. 
 - Simply POINT DISC AT ROOM|<player>|<denizen>|<thing> [EXCLUDE ME]. 
 - By including the EXCLUDE ME when pointed at the room you're in, you, the
   image creator, will be left out of the image.

a Votive of Rememberance     - TALISMAN INFO VOTIVE
 - Purchasable in Delos for 160 bound credits.
 - In the Siroccian Mountains lies the Memorial to the Fallen Gods, honouring
   those deities who perished in the war against Bal'met, the Worldreaver.
 - By lighting this votive (LIGHT VOTIVE) in the room dedicated to the memory
   of a particular God, you will store a bit of the memory of that God in your
   votive. 
 - Simply drop the votive in a room, and it will begin casting scenes of the
   Gods whose memories are stored within the votive. 
 - To clear the memories of the Gods out of your votive, LIGHT VOTIVE in the
   room with the ever-burning flame in the memorial.

a Shar'ilian Whisperstone    - TALISMAN INFO WHISPERSTONE
 - Purchasable in Delos for 1200 bound credits.
 - The magi of the famed and now lost islands of Shar'ilian produced these
   whisperstones long ago. 
 - By doing TOUCH STONE TO GROUND the owner of the stone will hear all talking
   in the room as if he or she was there. 
 - This can be done about once per Achaean day, and the effect lasts a similar
   length of time.

a clouded glass lily         - TALISMAN INFO LILY
 - Purchasable in Delos for 300 bound credits.
 - By dropping the lily - inspired by the lilies used in the Landmarking that
   ended several hundred years ago, you will get a short-term boost or
   hindrance to critical hit severity.
 - Getting a boost is more likely than being hindered.

 - Purchasable in Delos for 50 bound credits.
 - This is a mini-pet!

a polka-dotted turtle        - TALISMAN INFO TURTLE
 - Purchasable in Delos for 50 bound credits.
 - This is a mini-pet!

a black-tailed mongoose      - TALISMAN INFO MONGOOSE
 - Purchasable in Delos for 50 bound credits.
 - This is a mini-pet!

a tough-looking hellcat      - TALISMAN INFO HELLCAT
 - Purchasable in Delos for 50 bound credits.
 - This is a mini-pet!

Partial Completions
--------------------
If you have two or three pieces of a talisman in the historical set you can
TALISMAN COMPLETE PARTIAL <talismanname> to complete it for the remainder
of the bound credit value of the item as it is in the Delosian Talisman shop.
   DOING THIS WILL COMPLETE THE TALISMAN AND BIND IT TO YOU.
Talismans completed in this manner will have an altered tradein that
reflects its credit worth, including the credit purchased completion.
I.E
    You have: cruciblebase and cruciblebowl.
    You use TALISMAN COMPLETE PARTIAL CRUCIBLE and pay 500 bound credits.
       This is half the cost of the crucible in the shop because you already
       have half of the pieces.
    You get: a completed soulfire crucible talisman.
    This item has a tradein value of: 346 bound credits.
       This is 2/3rds of 520 credits (The 500 credits paid above, plus your 2
       pieces valued at 10 credits each.)
