I would suggest in future that you pay more attention to history books than scrolls of unknown authenticity found in the forest. The Church of Ithmia was founded in a ceremony that mourned the passing of Pasiphae, which honoured her beloved spirit and helped those remember her with the Rite of Passing, not as a cult seeking domination of Sapience.
