the Divine Order of Sartan

Greetings Achaea!

Recently I have been hearing some disturbing things about people thoughtlessly joining the order of evil, then regretting it later, as they have decided they are not pure evil anymore or whatnot.

The most recent and best example I believe is Borknagar, who left the order insulting the Lord the whole way, for a woman, for 'love'.

And I know for a fact that there are others who publicly proclaim to be evil, but in secret tell others how what they say is a lie, and they are not really on the evil side.

People! Investigate the order before joining. MAKE SURE this is something you can really handle. I am going to post the 7 truths of evil with explaining exerpts from 'The Seven Truths of Evil', a journal written by the Lord Sartan Himself. If you want to join the order, read this post. If you don't understand, read it until you do. If you do understand it, read it AGAIN.

Saying you understand Evil and/or wanting to serve Evil is all well and good if you truly mean it. But if you're doing it just because it's the good idea of the moment, forget it. We do NOT tolerate weakness of any sort. You MUST be totally confident in your ability to stay true to the Lord and the Way.

"The Seven Truths of Evil", by Sartan, Lord of Evil. Read and follow them carefully for misrepresentation or misinterpretation of His words will bring upon thy soul His eternal wrath and damnation.

The First Truth of Evil

What is called evil is simply the drive for advancement, for greatness. We seek, through discipline and pain, to spur the advancement of nothing less than sentient life.

Personal Greatness is what drives the mortal and even, immortal consciousness. All 'worthwhile' sentient life desires to become greater then its current state. Only the truly unworthy, slothful, and foolish being purposely keeps from this progression of state.

It seems evident that mortal progression only reaches a certain point before it falters and resists further enhancement. This plateau is, in most circumstances, imposed upon them by their own actions. Self-made prisons known as 'values', 'morality' and 'decency' can cause mortal progress to eventually halt.

Thus the importance of the path of Evil is made evident. Personal advancement shall be put before all. If one must slay ones own family in return for great power, then this is not sin, but rather a sign of greatness and strength. It displays the willingness of one to place oneself ahead of all things.

Mortals must never hinder their personal ambitions with the aforementioned 'prisons,' if they proceed to do so, then they are listed among the foolish.

The Second Truth of Evil

Cruelty - the application of pain - is the method by which one weeds out the weak and feeble-minded from the population.

Through cruelty imposed upon the weak by the retinue of Evil, in the form of hardships and pain, the chaff shall be separated from the wheat.

Only the most asinine of mortals assume that this Law means that the weak should be executed as often as possible. This is not the case. The weak may serve many purposes for the strong. Simply killing the weak for their existence will do little for the strong other then satisfy personal bloodlust. Just as mortals bow to the Gods, the weak shall serve the strong.

Footnote: I remind the reader and the follower of Evil that the great Logos himself has personally decreed that the weak and feeble shall not be systematically slain by the strong, save circumstances where the weak attempt to undermine, slay or offend the strong. In such instances the offender has lost the grace of Sarapis and should be slain to preserve the influence of Evil.

The Third Truth of Evil

Weakness must be eliminated in all its forms: Physical, Mental, and Spiritual

There is no foe, no danger, no unseen power more rank nor malefic then the one known as the traitor. We abhor the traitor as he leads the enemy past our gate. We hunt him ceaselessly for the murder of our kin. We despise the traitor for every bit of destruction he brings to us. Our scars remind us to keep out hatred of the traitor bitter.

Yet, how do we guard from the traitor within? I do not mean the traitor who hides among as the deceiving snake, rather I refer to the flesh that is of us. For it is the body, the flesh that is our greatest betrayer. It is he who corrupts and weakens us more then any foe. It is the enemy harbored deep within all of us. He alone leads us down the path to destruction and damnation.

Burn the traitor within, purge the weakness that is your inner self. Clean the body, mind and spirit with the powers of Evil and follow its narrow path to the gates of true freedom and exhalation.

The Fourth Truth of Evil

The enemies of strength are those who trumpet the effeminate values of forgiveness, tolerance, and laxity of discipline.

Perhaps the greatest hindrances of those whom claim to follow the path of Evil are these three sins. I will study each briefly as follows.

Forgiveness - Forgiveness shows mercy, mercy shows compassion, and compassion shows kindness. These are the stepping stones of the path of weakness. Thus forgiveness shows weakness and weakness must be purged from the soul.

Tolerance - The rewards of tolerance are treachery and betrayal. One who tolerates weakness of any form in others, will reap the rewards of the seeds they thus sow. Purge the weakness from your ranks and from oneself and you will become greater and stronger then any mortal that this world has ever seen.

Laxity of Discipline - Order must be maintained at all times. Any mortal, whom allows those beneath him to become relaxed in the laws and traditions set before them, has paved his own path to destruction. A lack of discipline leads toward tolerance and forgiveness.

The Fifth Truth of Evil

The body may be made stronger through combat.

In this world personal strength is one of the greatest signs of power and worth in an individual. Many mortals have the knowledge yet few possess the true power. Only through constant and consistent training may a mortal achieve their full potential. A man, with an eye single in thought and vision toward bettering the body, will reach a near godly level of invincibility and prestige.

The Sixth Truth of Evil

The mind may be made stronger through the elimination of conscience. One does this by inflicting pain on others.

How can one whom is laden with a conscience, possibly hope to advance along the path of Evil. One whom follows the path must be willing to sacrifice all that he has if it means that it will increase his own strength. Ones family, friends, and belongings are secondary to the path of Evil, which is nothing more then a map to true personal progression and enlightenment. Without conscience one can do any task set before him. One must strive to purge thyself of this weakness, through the infliction of mental, physical, and spiritual pain upon others.

The Seventh Truth of Evil

The spirit may be made stronger by enduring hardships, both self-imposed and externally imposed."

"Those wishing to join Sartan's Order had best be serious about it, and serious about being evil. He generally slays those who He feels are wasting His valuable time. However, He welcomes those few who are brave enough, and willing to face great enough odds in pursuit of greatness, to speak to Him about His Order.

Greatness is the pursuit of dominance over others."
