I think perhaps you have heard about a meeting where I was asked my opinion on certain matters - a meeting where I made it quite clear that my only authority was as guild Sec. If you doubt this, speak to Darragon for he was also present.

What disturbs me however is that you feel the need make this a topic for public discussion. Very well, you have your wish. I get the sense that you mistrust me, Maran, but your worries are misplaced. Yes, I have friends beyond Shallam, from amoung those you would call enemies. But even they are aware that I am no traitor to my city. Perhaps you should speak to your fellow Visiers who know me better than you before bringing my character into question.
