Four in a Row!

On the subject of Good and Evil...

Perhaps some people have very subjective ideas of good and evil. To be good one has to act within a certain set of guidelines, invented by the other good people. To go outside of these guidelines one becomes evil. Evil has a similar set of guidelines except it's not good to go outside them always. In other words, it's harder to stay good then evil.

Anyways, such guidelines are always relative. One population might think that to be good one must have purple hair (example only please). Another population thinks that have green hair is good. Each population thinks the other evil. Of course, it gets quite a bit more complicated then that, especially in a land like Achaea where personal, guild, and municipal loyalities get entangled into the mix.

I believe you are good if you have a set of high ideals which you will not compromise at any length. Of course, a set of high ideals is also relative, so this really gets us no where. Basically, I doubt that anyone can finitely decide what is good and what is evil (with perhaps the exception the murder of sentient beings).
