A cheesy subject, I agree...:) But I had to replay to sinistar, and
his band of Inferals... I am glad that you stated that there are 5% of
us out here who aren't barabarians... gives you a little leeway, doesn't it?
In reference to "it's the little things", I find the remark crude
and obnoxious... Totally uncalled for, inflamatory, inacurate, sexist,
guildist, and generally rude.
As far as your opinion re. ideas of it being possible to have chivalry
thrust upon one's self, give me a break... The reference to the child
playing dress-up was nicely written, but, again, inacurate. Chivalry
is, and always will be, an ideal that one must do one's best to
achieve in light of all opposition. To rise above the lesser emotions,
and embrace the divine light of purity in thought and form.
This divine light has two sides, which, epicly enough, were embraced durin
the fight between you and pierce.
Pierce was willing to let the matter go... Little or no fanfare, but you
decide to throw it up for the whole world to see... hmm... Makes
me wonder why...
Some hide behind the divine light; some embrace it... Chivalry is a
code. With out others to defend it, it is nothing but a passing thought.
Pierce appears to have defended his guild, his church, and his homeland
in challenging you. If you are the enemy of those things that you speak of
being, you should have no trouble in his declaration of challenge, no matter
the situation.
My guild may have it's share of problems... what guild doesn't? Things cost
too much, it's hard to get used to things, but in the end, /I/'m where /I/
belong. So: I find your offer of admission to your guild insulting.
I took a vow to uphold values you have only a smattering of a clue about.
The greatest display of true chivalry I have seen thus far in Achaea came
from the darkest heart possible. We sparred and after i died, not
only did he resurrect me, he offered me lunch...:)
He was my better, when I lost, he offered me compensations for my potential
losses...
I have seen ample examples of kind heartedness, but this was the first, and
thus far only, example, towards me, of real chivalry...
Did you, even though you were his superior, offer Pierce lunch? or did you
sulk off?
If you wish to debate me further, contact me via msg. I think the public
posts have had enough of this.
