Boldly Going Nowhere

This seems to be the season for posting. I must take advantage of the opportunity. To everyone is not accurate. This is to paladins in general.

It is no wonder that 95% of you are thugs without reason or focus (assuming you have pluck enough to fight), when your leader is the unchivalrous , uncultured roughian that he is. He has dropped the ball and he knows it, and no amount of posting, no matter how eloquent is going to save face for the man. Your plight is not your fault, dear paladins, unless you willingly choose to continue to follow Pierce...you have had poor instruction.

For this reason, I now show extreme generosity, and will give you some pointers, in the intrest of sportsmanship. Chivalry is about rules, and playing by them. Its not the big things, like how many heads you can pike in a day, it is about how you do it. Let me illustrate.

A knight and his janizaries sack a town, plunder the church for gold, kill the men, and take the women and cattle as plunder. Knights do these things. So do barbarian hordes. The difference is, that the knight gives a bottle of fine wine to the opposing general for losing gracefully. As I said, its the little things.

Some are born to chivalry, others have it thrust upon them. The girdle of chivalry was thrust upon Pierce and it fits him like a child playing dress-up. If any of you are currious about what true chivalry is, dont bother asking him. He will only tell you that piking Sinistars head is as chivalrous as it gets. He is a barbarian.

The Infernals do not normally accept applicants who already have a guild. We hate quitters. However, at just this moment I am moved to offer my hand to any of you paladins who want to live the life of a true knight. Should you decide to apply with us, know that your dedication and sincerity will be tested with fire. I of all people in Achaea, must know the feeling of wanting more out of life. If you have strenght of character, if you are able to rise above the barbarian horde you run with, if you want more than the paladins are offering, message me personally. As Sartan once said, for ex-paladins, the bar is much higher, but should you clear it, you will be a fine addition to our guild.
-the Sinistar

P.S. - if your are planning something so deceitful as coming to me with the intention of spying, be warned. Spies like your friend Clint, allong with ex-Infernals are our most hated enemies and they will never know rest outside the walls of Shallam. My hand is offered in honesty to those who hear my call, and this kindness will not be repeated.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Lupar, in the year 230 AF.
