shop tax

It pains me to say that until further notice.. my shop in the
medina, The Olive Branch, is closed. I am hoping that this will
be a temporary situation and I hope it does not cause anyone any
inconvenience. I am still firmly devoted to providing healing
herbs and elixirs to any and all who need them. Should you wish my
assistance, please do not hesitate to send me a tell.

For the record, as I stated in my previous post, I do not have a problem
with the tax other than I will not fund the war effort. Maran assured me
that my money would go to the Ambassador's office to help newbies and
I was well satisfied with that. However, recent events have made me
question that decision. I find it appalling that shopkeepers are told
that they will be robbed blind if they do not pay the tax... when the
procedure for paying the tax has not even been given. It seems there is
much disorganization in regards to this tax and, although I have faith
that the leaders of Shallam will work out the details shortly, to punish
for non-payment now makes no sense to this lowly mortal.

May Oneiros grant you the vision of his blessed peace..
