I, too, hope that the Sentinels approach the newly-created issue of sacrifices with the spirit of compromise and peace.
The Church has been constantly persecuted, oftentimes because they are one of the few organizations philosophically dedicated to do good. Many - not all, but many - who criticise the Church do so because they would like to see it weakened. This has been a long-standing trend with respect to shrines.
So I, a minor priest in the Church, and a person who has not engaged in sacrifice of late, am concerned that the Sentinels' new leadership is threatening war. Why the new interest on the part of the guildmaster of the Sentinels?
Lest that motivation be misunderstood, I hope that any killing of people be forsworn until wiser heads than I have discussed it fully.
At least, let it be recognized that animal sacrifices on shrines has been a very, very long-standing practice. That will not change in response to an ultimatum.
