That was a beautiful story, Echo.
I hope it is true, as I believe it is.
I hope Gretyl's post has cleared up certain questions,
although those questions are not what was being discussed.
I do not blame Gretyl for this, however, and try not to blame anyone.
Gretyl's post, rather, helped clear up some ugly issues,
and turned the topic back to the beginning and point.
The point: The Church sacrifices many wild animals, seeking to improve their shrines, and worship certain gods. This is not about corruption within the organization. I don't give two tiddles what the Church does so long as it does not touch on the natural world in a harmful way.
Blackleaf, speaking for the Sentinels, believes the continued sacrifice of such large quantities of animals will damage that which both Druids and Sentinels seek to protect. Because of this belief, he has taken action in the form of physical violence, in order to protect his stewardship.
I would like to ask if there are alternatives to the sacrifice of so many of Gaia's creatures. Can objects of value be sacrificed? Could plants, or domestic animals? Could any regulations be placed on how many animals are sacrificed?
I'm afraid I've gone on longer than I should have, and the presence of so many question marks may frighten the unwary, but I do not mean harm in these questions. There must be a better way to resolve this issue than the continual slaughter of innocent individuals, by the Church, or, as I have gathered was suggested, by the Sentinels.

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Aeguary, in the year 226 AF.
