For a long while now, I have seen a travesty that I felt that I should ignore because of alliances. But I can take it no more. Some people have the power of mastery of animals, which makes the animals friendly towards that person. This in itself is not wrong, infact I envey the skill. But when that animal, who now believes you to be its friend, is lead unknowingly to give its life for the sanctity of a shrine, that is wrong. All creatures should be allowed to defend themselves in time of death. When you sap the will of a creature for the sole purpose of sanctifying a shrine, you are going against the order of nature and breaking the circle of life. All creatures are a part of the natural order of life, if you wish to kill a mountain lion, by all means try. But to not allow the same lion to fight back is wrong and I will not allow it to happen anymore.
