To the King with the Homemade Crown:
I am glad you are amused. I, too, am amused, that you think me or anyone else beholden to another's foolishness. I do not respond to the content of Ulvin's post because it is unnecessary. Ulvin does not need to be educated nor corrected, because I trust Ulvin to know better. His words are foolish, his reasoning illogical, and his post nonsense, and to that, I respond, because that is all the substance there is. I sincerely hope that, one day, Ulvin will be reasonable once again, but I won't hold my breath nor cater to his foolishness in the meantime.
To you, I simply throw my hands up. You see, you -don't- know better. You will -never- know better. You wear your self-serving delusions like armour to shield your fragile ego from the bruising of others' words. You rifle furiously through your thesaurus, counting syllables as though they might validate your delicate self-image of superiority. You call yourself a king because you know that you can only ever pretend to be greater than anyone else, and you cling to your belief with such ferocity it's a wonder your fingers don't bleed. And because you are strong, you wield your might as justification for your own existence when really you offer nothing to Creation. When you are wounded, your blood will spill upon barren rock and nourish nothing. When you die, your meat will be wasted upon the starving because you have no substance.
However, I have taken the time to reply to you because you have stumbled upon a grievous error. You have dared, in your ignorance, to insult my Lord. You see, when a child blasphemes, we correct them. But you, you can't learn. So I will offer you only some advice.
Do not do so again.
I have the utmost respect for Lord Sartan. He is cruel, He is mighty, and He inspires awe. He is cunning, He is resilient, and He is noble. I vehemently oppose His teachings, but I respect Him.
And He is everything you will never be. Perhaps one day you will realize that.
But I doubt it.
In Song,
Taelle Starling
