The Second Sketch: "Hunger"

Ladies, Gentlemen, Fae-folk,

I am pleased to announce that, at this time, we have recovered a second sketch for the artist Myatt. Thank you to all who responded to this enigmatic and dangerous feast in Xhaiden Dale, and helped to unravel the riddle that bound its existence. A particularly grateful call goes out to the Heiress of the Keepers of the Song, Ilsefi, who finally found the right answer and broke the spell!

Sometimes, Art can pose lessons to those who witness it. Fables, cautionary tales, and handed-down wisdom alike can find form in prose, song, or in this case, paint. This sketch represented the dangers of gloating and overindulgence, of losing oneself to greed and pride, to letting one's material wealth preside as stature over others. May all who witnessed the dangers of this vision take to heart the lessons imparted therein: let not what you consume in turn consume you.

Once again, I thank you all for your efforts in quelling this travesty upon the realm of Art. I look forward to continuing to work with you all as we recover the remaining sketches. I am grateful for your continued assistance, and I thank you all for your continued respect for this realm's Art.

In Song,
Taelle Starling

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Phaestian, in the year 958 AF.
