About that Grimoire.

Sapience.

As much as I, at times, admire Hashan's view on progress and knowledge, (Knowledge hidden is knowledge lost), Asmodron Dicondron was an irresponsible man for giving people copies of The Grimoire of Souls with little to not warning.

Now, years later, people are suffering the consequences.

Lost about volumes and books,
Some whisper louder than others.
Some were shoved in a box,
Some are deep within the fog.

Please heed my warning,
Not all of them are friends.

Hello everyone. This news isn't going to be nice so I'll keep it brief so you can go back to your happy jestering.

Lately, Cyrene and Targossas have been working together on some mutual issues.

Last year or so, the Priestess of Life, Pryla'ari herself was there, helping us to help her to help some novices, who were on a mission with an importance that can't be overstated. We did this with a grimoire authored by Lord Toth Himself. I have no idea how or when Asmodron Dicondron got it, but he did, and "kindly" offered to give copies to everyone who asked.

As stated in Public News Post #21884, a scholar asked Pryla'ari herself if they could keep a copy, and Pryla'ari simply replied that it was better for their soul if they didn't. Reading already takes a heavy toll.

I was that scholar. I was there. And I won't go into details, but I don't think I'm the same woman that I was before I read it. I haven't quite felt like myself since then.

So, with this, I'm sorry to inform the copy of The Grimoire of Souls that was briefly in the library has been placed out of circulation. I'm not risking a novice or a newcomer reading it.

Next time, ask me about putting dangerous books in our library. Please.
