Where were you when Hashan bravely fought the often outnumbered Ashtani army all by itself?

I can tell you, for I have a long memory. Especially when it comes to grudges.

You were there, with Hashan. You tossed aside all your ideals and your beliefs and fought with Hashan, the sucking hole of Darkness. The Light was bedfellows with Twilight. Nature bowed to the Dark Father's will, although they did manage to see the errors of their ways. Evil subjugated itself to the Lord of Darkness. The less effective sucking hole of nothingness affectionately known as Cyrene fell for the lies of the Darkwalkers.

Hashan, you have done a wonderful job painting yourselves as an anti-theistic, pro-progress and scientifically-minded group of people that are agreeable to all besides those who can see through your bullshit. And for all that, you gained allies. There was even a coalition against us and all cities save for Mhaldor seemed to languish in the mediocrity of its ineffective coordination. Mhaldor did participate, but due to its strict policy of 'We stand alone' they could not publicly announce such things to the public. But as we all know, Mhaldor doesn't give a shit about its own rules or stances but will simply take the easiest route provided and claim it has taken the hardest.

So bicker amongst yourselves about who fought against Ashtan during our successful campaign to become the first modern Empire. You were all there, and you all participated. You showed Sapience that the age old adage of 'quality over quantity' is true.

Do not think our absence on the field of battle is permanent. By all means, grow bold while we take a well-earned break from tanning your collective hides. Crushing your pride will be our reward.
