Not the First Time he Speaks Doom and Gloom and Rot

Greetings, Sapience.
After what happened around three years ago, I didn't expect I'd be writing to the Public News board about something that wouldn't be strictly the yearly burdock donations that I so dearly give away every year. Turns out I wasn't exactly wrong.
Like many of you, I've been reading the private letters that have been posted here these last few months. Imagine my lack of surprise when the Avatar of Winter made an apparition.
A couple of years ago, around the 17th of Sarapin of 938 AF, shortly after my donations of that year were done, I heard The High Warden of Nature near my ear like a mosquito that won't leave.
"Burdock was a mistake", Along how much She wished to see mortal life "like you and I" eradicated.
Thinking it was a terrible joke, that he couldn't possibly be the High Warden of Nature, I told him to come and say it to my face. In the end it was me and Farstrider Treischt who travelled all the way to Eleusis to talk to him.
I was angrier than when I got there. I still am. Having the High Warden of Nature speaking about how much he wished the Xorani disease wiped all the Xorani folk and hoping it would extend to other mortal kind since, suddenly, we're a "pestilence that needs to be eradicated" was, at the very least, worrying. Especially if he and Eleusis' Speaker seem to have different opinions of their Divine Patron.
I've been wondering since then if the fisherman from Jaru (also known as "Biscuit") was actually up to something. If you don't know what I'm talking about, please refer to Public News Post from #21746 to #21748.
Before I stop writing, I'd like to remind everyone that there's still no concrete proof of burdock roots being bad or lethal to mortal kind. And while I have the feeling this might throw most of my efforts to the rubbish, I believe everyone deserves to make informed choices and listen to all sides of a story.
If you haven't, and if you're still willing, please remember to eat a burdock root at least yearly,
Annase D'Arcangeli-Malicieux Si'Talvace
PS: I'm still willing to give all of my gold to someone who can come up with an alternative cure.
Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Miraman, in the year 940 AF.
