RIDDLE 2:

Wanderer I am,
A maker of paths.
Beholden I was,
An extensive task.

Desire I have had,
Though their eyes for another.
The bard, for one,
Among their many, many others.

Later to be captivated by him,
Of golden radiance and a roguish grin.
Was it but fun? Or a ploy to win?

Now I'm free,
Beholden to but me.
My chance my own,
Whatever it may be.

Will they remember?
Perhaps at least one.
Find them with the fallen,
Under an earthen sun.
