Words, words, words

Proficy,

It is always a question whether it is worth the effort to respond to your screeds, given it means having to endure your screeching in the mind for the months to follow. I am not surprised you are ignorant of the ways that one might lead outside of tyranny. It is not my place to dictate, but instead to speak the will of our people, and see Nature reclaim that which belongs to it.

I do not think my stance has ever been a mystery, and it's one that I have always been happy to share with those with a mind to listen, instead of condescend. Eleusis maintains the vine network as a mortal manifestation of Nature's will. Your Lord's foul fog might have ruined the isle, but the poor facsimile that your kith and kin spread beyond it has no power over Her world.

Our vinetenders work tirelessly, not at my direction, but certainly with my blessing, and they understand the risks that come when the civilised and the foul object to their spread. You are welcome to speak your threats as if you are making some grand pronouncement - but those who have maintained our vines already know your ire, for you have never been shy about bloviating.

It is a weak man's position to shout from the mountaintops. The strong, and the wise, speak through their actions.

In service to Nature,
Bloodbound Treyal Wintermourne, Speaker of Eleusis

Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Phaestian, in the year 931 AF.
