The Guild Tournament

Lo-da'i, foreigners. Icy winter tidings to you all.
The Guild of Knights extends an invitation to each of you to attend and cheer on your comrades in the upcoming combat tournament, to be held upon the 13th of Valnuary, 920 years after the fall.
The rules are simple - may the finest chivalric champion emerge victorious.
Participation is open to all those who are members of any knightly order or the guild of knights. In the interest of allowing them the opportunity to test their mettle against the ranks of modern knighthood, Targossas may elect to nominate one honourable champion to carry on the legacy of the eastern knights who preceded them.
Prizes and prestige abound, of course.
The first place winner shall receive seventy-five credits, a custom weapon or suit of armour, and a unique title to denote their prowess.
The second place winner shall receive fifty credits and fifty thousand gold.
Third place winner shall receive twenty-five credits.
The knights among your respective ranks are dedicated, tenacious, and relentless in the pursuit of excellence in all fields; come show your support (and perhaps make some coin on some bets) as we find out who is the finest warrior amongst the ranks of modern knighthood.
Laiq tsuura,
Sir Aodfionn Wintermourne
the Gaian Knight
Penned by my hand on the 4th of Sarapin, in the year 920 AF.
