As you are no doubt very busy in your tower, I have thought it better to try and reach you this way. You have been known to post here, if nothing else, and so with some luck this will draw your eye.

How much do you know of the recent happenings, with the Kirin, specifically? As you might, or might not have heard, the once-guardian of sunk Shallam recently manifested in the immediacy of Delos. Though gone now by the whims of Memory, its departure did not materialize before it had an unfortunate effect upon a local boy who had been drawn by its beauty.

To keep it short, the boy looked into the eyes of the Kirin, and was struck with some... some sort of malady or side-effect? He keeps saying he can see something bright and huge behind his eyelids, and the vision, whatever it is, consumes him to the detriment of everything else. He tried, briefly, to replicate this vision upon sand, to no avail, and either the exertion or the disappointment has left him near-catatonic.

He is in the able care of the Abbess and the Monastery of New Hope at present, and while I am confident they will do their best, it is you who commands both ability with sorcery and familiarity with memory.

Helping the boy might well help us understand what is going on, or not. Nonetheless, I would sincerely ask that you may consider doing what you can.
