Ambassador Lii Lichlord,

Hello. I trust you are well. I was not aware we were in contact, but you have made me feel quite popular at the moment. Since I am mid-contest for Hierophant, I will take this as a form of publicity. I always believe in listening to my elders, and elders' elders, and elders' elders' elders, or however many generations removed you are from me. I am but an unfurled scroll. Thank you for taking the time to ink me.

Might I take this opportunity to learn further from you. I am curious about so many things in this world, and you seem like you have some searing desire to teach me a lesson. I am humbled by your thoughtfulness. Was there something in my writings, first to the Eleusians to announce my candidacy, and then in response to that dear scribe's public adulation, that suggested I was in need of a history lesson. Maybe some training in moral enslavement I was subtly demanding. Ah, the Seneschalship. Of course, thank you for reminding me who the current Seneschal is and who the last Seneschal was. That must have been the knowledge I lacked.

I enjoy when my mother is quoted at me, you know. I never tire of her wisdom. Would you be interested in hearing other things she has said during our period of reacquaintance. One of my favourites was when she told me the daughter of a dog is still a bitch, a quip that rings truer with each passing year. Or a remark in passing that all I needed was a good screw to cheer me up. She was at best half right. A bad screw would have done well enough.

Words mean little, she says, penning a lecture on the Black Wave. Actions speak volumes, she chides the Mhun who spent last month bleeding out in defence of Moghedu. Thank you for these words that mean so little. I look forward to more of the action. Maybe you will grace Moghedu with your presence when next I am there, Ambassador, so I can at least have the pleasure of spitting in your face as you choke the life from me.

In the mean time, would you mind putting me back in touch with Timothy. He was far less of a bore.

I remain,
A Pinnacle of Commonness,
Art,

Harenae Uraian-gattar
