With the latest Championship games concluded, and the true colours of many - from Chaos-loving Imperiate to treehugging Targossian - revealed in the process, I would be remiss not to bid any who find such truths unpleasant to question why they remain loyal to a false ideal that exists only in word and propaganda.

It is not unusual for truth to be revealed by the crucible of conflict. Lofty aspirations and ideals appeal to many, but when they are tested by struggle, they frequently bend and break. What is loyalty, if you discard it when confronted with hardship? What is honour, if it applies only when it is easy? What is devotion to the sanctity of Creation if one would warp and twist it for mere convenience?

We, the Court of Shadows, denounce the false ideals of others as what they are: a sham. But why should mortals swear fealty to such ideals, if they cannot even stand for them?

The Court stands strong against the false and cowardly because we believe in the only ideal that matters: our own will. Those who would stand with us in creating a better world, through action rather than word, would do well to join us in the shadows. We rise, and by mortal will and drive, we will pave the way to a better tomorrow.

Those who stand against us will falter as we ever elucidate the lies that sustain them. You cannot, after all, hide from the Dark itself.
