Hail, Sapience.
The Asterian Festival of History is less than two years away. Many are labouring diligently to bring our shared history to life. Even if you are not actively involved in a showcase, some preparation on your part will be of great benefit in participating in the activities and events.
Thus, I offer a brief preview of what lies in store.
The year will be loosely themed around the realms of the Divine that the months were named after, for that is how our calendar was created. All activities will carry a historical focus.
There will be a key activity each month that all may complete at their leisure, and several highlight events that may be organised by the Restoration, the cities, or other parties.

SARAPIN
Before we were, they were.
DAEDALAN
Choose a side to tilt the balance.
AEGUARY
Conflict arrives in many forms.
MIRAMAN
How shall you judge the accused?
SCARLATTAN
History is so named for a reason.
ERO
The consequences of love.
VALNUARY
The night tells its own stories.
LUPAR
The hunt for knowledge.
PHAESTIAN
Celebrating creation and commerce.
CHRONOS
Stepping back in time.
GLACIAN
Mysteries over the decades.
MAYAN
The final rest.
While familiarity with history in general is a boon, the following tomes, which we consider basic education for any Achaean, will greatly assist in a better experience of the year:
- The Mythos
- The History of the Seleucarian Empire (all three tomes, or at least read the abridged history)
- The History of the Mortal Races
All tomes are found in HELP scrolls or in most major libraries, save for the abridged history of the Seleucarian Empire, which is found in the Asterian Athenaeum. I strongly encourage, however, that you attempt to read the original text, or much of the nuance is lost.
The Asterian Restoration is a privately funded, not-for-profit organisation. All funds received are used for Restoration activities and events. Any who wish to contribute donations to us to support our continued activity may do so privately to myself, or you may deposit funds at our account in the Cyrene Savings Bank or the Delosian Trust. Your support is sincerely appreciated.
I will continue to post updates on the Festival as preparation is under way. In the meantime, there is work to be done for all. The pursuit of knowledge never ceases.
