War Strategy

Why?

Because it works...

You see, mortal, when you attack something that somebody cares about,
they begin to see the consequences of their action. In the case of the
Phaestians, attacking other shrines do not result in any harm to what
Baldazar cares about, so he can continue to defile at will. Contrary to
your obvious belief, My soldiers are also governed by the laws of the
Land and can't simply attack someone at will. They have learned the
lessons of War well, where you seek out that which someone cares
about...the puppetmaster if you will...and try to sever their strings.
Does one person denote an entire order? No. Is the order affiliation of
the attacker just about the only thing that can be attacked in response
to their actions? Yes.

Now please, mortal, go back to spouting off about your true light and
other useless ramblings. Leave the intricacies of strategy and the
workings of soldiers to those who have the time to dissect and analyze
their opponents. It is quite simple to avoid shrines being destroyed,
which is to remain out of the conflict in its entirety.

Aegis, God of War

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Lupar, in the year 419 AF.
