I believe I have the most valuable information any mortal could possibly
hold on the Lin'Quei. However, I am not the type of person who would
need payment to divulge details about those who slaughter innocent
children. So here it is, for all of Sapience to read and consider:

The Lin'Quei are a "community minded" organization. Ah, so they
appreciate the strength that comes in numbers, in joint ventures, in
raising the bar for the 'greater good' of those involved. Hm. "Greater
good." Where have I heard that before? I think that is clue number one
to who may be their biggest perpetrators of atrocity.

Ah, yes. I remember now. The greater good. As in 'he who protects the
least of these...' as in 'our children are sacred let their voices ring
forth' as in..did someone say "grace" period? Ah yes.

As most everyone who reads this board knows, give or take about ten
years ago, my husband and I found a young Shallamese girl wandering
outside our Ashtan home. We did not, were never, hadn't even entered
Shallam that month, by the way. So we took her in, fed her, clothed her,
and offered her our family name. Rose Ze'Dekiah was Shallamese born, but
she loves her father, her mother, and our family pets Fats the Elephant
and Ugly the mule. And she will never see her homeland again.

Why, you ask? Its simple. You see, instead of committing murder we let
Rose into our hearts. We defended her removal from our home and our
lives (by the way, Ashtan does have a law against trespassing on private
property) and we were enemied for it. We weren't the ones who took her
from the Jewel of the East (which needs some polishing in my mind) and
even though we publically requested permission to adopt Rose, we remain
enemies of some great atrocity.

And so you see, we were given no "grace" period, we haven't even been
told yet what exactly we did wrong (since again, we weren't responsible
for Rose being in Ashtan nor did we physically enter Shallam or remove
her from it). Apparently, what Shallam wanted us to do was take her
home, gather four of her closest friends and lay their bodies to waste
outside the Chrysalis Basilica. So obviously the chief members of this
'evil' and 'community minded' organization are the leaders of Shallam
themselves. I'm not sure how else you can explain our punishment for
caring for and adopting one of their street urchins (by the way, if you
have read Hieyoko's Bardic entry, it retells the story in wonderful
literary detail).

Now, for this information I do not wish any payment. Please just keep
your gold and unenemy my husband and I for doing absolutely nothing
wrong -- other than exposing your own sins over and over again, Shallam.
To the other members of the Lin'Quei I remind you that I was only
'outing' the chief players; compared to Shallam the rest of you are
hardly evil at all.
