Dear Sisters,

As you undoubtedly have heard, I have resigned my position as your
Thaelstriss and left the tribe of the Amazons. This should come to you
as no surprise since I repeatedly stated that it was my intent to do so
if our membership would not wipe the cobwebs from their eyes and begin
to live in the modern world as Amazonians and not as ancient Amazoa.

Simply stated, I have left for two reasons:

1. I would rather be Flair's willing servant than his unwilling
mistress. I do not believe the policies of the Amazons in regards to
allowing men in to the clan as Allies goes far enough towards the
middle, that is towards equality, which I believe to be the truth
purpose and goal of Otrera.

2. Your apathy. Women are used for vicious experiments by that old,
wicked man Sallust. Paphian corrupts young girls minds and lives by
luring them into a life of indentured sexual slavery. And the village of
Tomacula, your ancestral homeland, has its Amazonian traditions looted
by the village leaders, who have turned their women into whores and
crazy-eyed witches. And what do you do? Nothing.

My life is with Flair, my beloved, and our family. My adopted daughter
Rose shall return from Loom soon and I want her to be proud of the woman
I am, I want to be an example to her, I want her to know that there is
more to Otrera than what is displayed by those who call themselves
'sisters.'
