For those of you concerned with the recent events surrounding the former
Firefighting clan, i write this on behalf of my brother and friend,
Gizmo, who shall return in some months' time.
I understand that Ranthann may have stolen the clan from the
Firefighters, but this is no fault or concern of Gizmo's or mine. how
could Gizmo have known, when Ranthann openly advertised on market,
'Selling Clan, 19 Posts, make an offer' that he was going to buy a
stolen clan? How could anyone but Ranthann and his Associates and
perhaps ex-Firefighters know?
After Gizmo started settling in and getting used to running a clan, we
stumbled upon the news posts, evidence of the Firefighters and their
various activities. But what were we to think? we thought nothing of it,
you can be sure, because the legal owner (however he had become the
owner) had sold us a used clan, and Gizmo was making it our own.
Fluffies (as it was then called) quickly grew in popularity, and soon we
had a pleasant social group, and everyone was happy. Not 8 months have
passed since Gizmo bought the clan. That is what happened as it
happened.
Why have some Houses banned their members from joining the clan? Why are
we now being told to change it to a firefighting clan? Why are the
dreams of young Gizmo, who payed all he had in Credits to Ranthann (55
of them to be exact), to be broken? I urge you all to stop this
foolishness and reconsider what has happened and the right that Gizmo
has to do what he wants with his clan.
In finishing, i'd like to remind everyone that Gizmo is a Druid of
Nature, and would do naught to harm the forests.
