My Apology

To the people of Sapience, especially those who reside in the great city
of Hashan

I apologize

I have wronged many people in my time in the realms, I have harmed them
mentally, emotionally, and physically. None of suffered from my deeds
more than the citizens of Hashan and the members of the Merchants of the
Crown. A good number of years ago, I betrayed the city I called my home
and the house I called my family. As a result, Hashan suffered much
damage and the Merchants lost their prized posession: Their Icon. I
mislead my house, and helped a group of raiders, including Swishowski,
Arelas, and others, to enter Nishtanoba and to destroy the Icon of the
Merchants. I killed those persons closest to me and caused a great rift
to form between myself and my former home. They shunned me, even going
so far as to hunt and kill me. I do not deny that what I did what wrong,
and also believe that I deserved every death I suffered at the hands of
Hashan and the Merchants of the Crown. In doing all this I also made
many enemied in every corner of Sapience. In time I became the enemy of
every major organization on the continent. Since then my life has
suffered in other ways, ways which I will not reveal, though they have
made my life quite miserable.

For all the suffering and pain I have caused, I apologize. I apologize
to the people of Sapience, to Hashan, to the Merchants of the Crown, and
to all others whose lives I have ruined through my actions. I seek only
forgiveness now, so that I may go on living my life in peace, and
repenting for all my past evils. So I plead to you, peoples of Sapience,
please forgive me, for I have sinned and I am remorseful. I will pay any
price, do any deed to be forgiven. I no longer wish to live my life in
agony.
