Picture perfect reflection is dying
Fading into a fog of perfect lies
Reflection wavers as glass is crying
Shatters as beautiful perfection dies

Pieces of heartbeats are scattered below
Remnants of memories fall to the floor
Images hollowed with nothing to show
Shards of a picture that now is no more

Tears of a mirror are few and denied
Now lying still in a pool of regret
Hopeless emotions are willed to collide
Remembered perfection cannot forget

Shadows will lengthen as light comes between
Shimmer can shatter that which is unseen
