The Rarest Rose

Written by: Druidic Sphynx Deonymus TijuLiat, the Silver Fox

Life and death are one.
The conclusion of life is death.
Yet in death there lies life.
Those who choose to be not,
Still are, in our memories.
The kith remember.

Sister, you remain.
In my mind, in our minds.
In your son, your daughter,
You remain,
For our love remains.
The kin remember.

Even in the trees themselves,
Your name is whispered in the leaves.
In your grove, you still are known.
The earth knows your footprints.
The grass knows your touch.
The forests remember.

Sister.

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Scarlatan, in the year 279 AF.
