To literary arts engage
Your counsel wise, her talent shows
And our Knightly culture grows

But dare you, Sir, to ever claim
The pens of other Orders lame?
My hand be forced, my tone be terse
We'll duel with steel or florid verse

So draw your quill, I know you can
Your favoured form from Kamleikan
But here 'fore all the world and time
Will Gaian Knights now flee from rhyme?

Or metered structure, cadent design?
Can you grunt melodic lines?
Witness here where true wit shines
And muster thine or kneel to mine

I understand the challenge, stark
To pen fine art on leaves and bark

A vellum ream of your trollish hide
