Sublimation

The planet burned, as I lament in vain,
When ties are cut, and portals shift the scene,
I paid the price, for power I obtained,
What secrets died, where planes left unseen?
I seek the truth that none can ever find,
I crave the power that they all deprive,
Deceitful lies disguise the truth unkind.
Where ancient myths in cabal still survive.

Your faction's hand we need no more to guide.
Behold, Proteus, the mortal might of men.
We strut with flair, your spirit high and wide,
We too can shape the world as you do, then.
Unveiling secrets hidden by the night,
We'll forge our path with starlight as our right.

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Phaestian, in the year 925 AF.
