Time slides like a slithering snake
Moving about, leaving ripples and wake

The Present moment binding Life
Cutting a Path like the edge of a knife

Into the Future untold unknown
Life springing up from the seeds that were sown

Logical Order, mechanical world
Through time the mysterious Future unfurled

The Body churns like a hurricane
Bursting with feelings of joy and pain

Enduring the storm and holding strong
Involves making choices between right and wrong

No simple choice, not black and white
But look inside and follow the Light

Stand by the Flame, bask in the heat
Look steadily and follow your feet
