The Lady of Axes (Rhyming Exercise)

Her words a reflection of a soul unknown
Somehow though undeciphered touches my own
A hint at a heart both deep and wide
Of pain Of laughter therein reside

Come find delight in her jagged word
But first discard the shackles of form
What joy you may find in dandy symmetry
Must pale to the joy of a mind untethered

Come see a spirit that none may herd
Though first dispel all notions of norm
What pride you may find in smugly bigotry
Will fall in the wake of a soul unfettered

Lady of Axes have I truly heard you?
Or perhaps your words I've been reading askew
A hint at a heart both deep and wide
Of pain Of laughter therein reside

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Sarapin, in the year 583 AF.
